About Sae Kaneko

Sae Kaneko, born in Tokyo in 1994, is a textile designer and artist with a passion for traditional Japanese textile arts.

She studied at Joshibi University of Art and Design and later enrolled in the Textile Design program at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule in Halle, Germany.

Her designs seamlessly blend traditional Japanese techniques with European-style experiment-based works, and her ability to bridge the gap between the two cultures has earned her recognition both in Japan and internationally.

Sae Kaneko continues to work as a textile designer in Tokyo and Kyoto, and her unique approach to textile design and her willingness to experiment with different techniques and materials make her a rising star in the world of design and art.
